i guess i need to let you, whomever you may be, know who the Tirey's are...I am Tootie(Johnson) and Greg is my husband...we have 2 dogs, shown in the above picture...Oliver is on the left, he is a 6 month old ogre of a dog.(german sheppard mix)and Brody is a almost 3 year old silky terrier. he is the boss. we are those obnoxious people that treat out dogs like human children! and by we, i must admit, it is mostly me! whatev! if our children are HALF as well behaved and awesome as our dogs, then we are gonna be lucky!
moving on.
Greg and I met in (November)2007, at work, he was my boss! shhhhhhhhh...that was a secret. but i did a sub par job of keeping it a secret whilst at work because i was sooooo excited to be dating such a wonderful guy! the old saying "you have to kiss a lot of frogs" is VERY true!
as i was saying
not long after we "officially" started dating, i was on the search for a new job. haha...so i started working at DCI(dialysis clinic inc.) and February 2009, we were engaged! and the wedding, May 23,2009 followed.
the day after we returned home from our cruise honeymoon, i packed up and moved 4 hours north, to Lexington Kentucky. needless to say i wasn't exactly thrilled to be 4 hours from everyone and everything i knew and was familiar with... the things you do for love!
We were in lexington for almost 2 years. I wonder why it is that just when you start getting used to a place and meet some people you have to up root and start all over again. Don't get me wrong, i was NOT a fan of lexington. it is a great town...just not for me.
i met some pretty awesome people,so it was a little(a lot more than i care to admit) bittersweet to pack up and move, again. But this time i had the OCEAN to settle my saddened heart! and here we are...
